New Enrichment Programme Equips Students for Life after School

New Enrichment Programme Equips Students for Life after School

The public examinations may have been cancelled this year, but Year 13 students are using the time to prepare for life after school. For two weeks in June, an optional enrichment programme will give students the opportunity to learn a new skill, build up expertise or gain a qualification for use in the future. It is also a chance for students to spend time together, connect with the wider school and the Berkhamsted community.

Enrichment Programme offering

The programme will cover a range of interests, including a certified first aid course, umpiring qualification, cooking for university and beyond sessions, counselling skills workshop, and an opportunity for creative activities. As well as utilising the school’s art, drama, outdoor education and sporting facilities, students will be volunteering in the local area with a number of charities.

Preparing for life after school

As a response to the cancellation of activities over the past year due to Covid, Berkhamsted Sixth is delighted to offer a programme of enrichment activities to Y13 students this June as they prepare for life after school.”
