Alice Fletcher appointed as Head of Heatherton School

We are delighted to announce that Alice Fletcher has been appointed as Head of Heatherton School from April 2026. 

Alice joins Heatherton from her role as Deputy Head at Rupert House School. With experience in several Prep Schools, including international postings in Dubai and Australia, Alice’s expertise will retain the warm, supportive atmosphere and vibrant academic culture that make Heatherton such a special place to be.  

With personal experience learning in an all-girls environment, Alice’s vision for Heatherton’s single-sex educational future is robust, research-led and rooted in the desire to bring every girl the confidence and skills to flourish.

We thank our outgoing Head, Nicola Nicoll, for her years of dedicated service to the School. Her work to strengthen pastoral and academic excellence, foster global citizenship and construct numerous physical developments has profoundly impacted hundreds of pupils to become their very own version of remarkable. Nicola moves on to the Almaty campus of Charterhouse School, where she will become the Founding Head of the Junior School.
