Berkhamsted commended for use of Education Technology

Berkhamsted Schools Group has recently been commended for Best Use of Education Technology by the Independent Schools of the Year awards.

This recognises our outstanding approach to education technology, ensuring that every pupil accesses age-appropriate resources and support to grow as modern digital citizens. From our device rollout map, which links our research-led teaching approach with developmentally appropriate 1:1 devices, to our strong technological education, teaching pupils how to approach technology with confidence and critical understanding.

A particular strength of our Education Technology is our approach to AI. While ensuring there are ample opportunities to engage with the most cutting-edge AI resources, we have also established a clear bottom line for its use, prioritising safety and independent thought. Recently, we were awarded the Gold Quality AI mark from the Good Future Foundation to recognise the successful implementation of AI into all aspects of the School.

As a research-led School, our approach to technology is constantly evolving. We continually evaluate and trial new technological opportunities, ensuring our pupils and staff have access to the most cutting-edge, effective and efficient resources available.
