Berkhamsted ranked 7th in top 200 sporting schools of 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Berkhamsted School has been ranked 7^th in School Sport Magazine’s top sports schools list.

The magazine lists the top 200 schools in the country for sport and includes both state and independent schools in the rankings.

“We are immensely proud of every member of the Berkhamsted community for the School Sport listing, which places us among the top 10 schools in the UK for sport for the second year running,” said Mr T Pierce, Director of Sport. “The exceptional performance levels achieved by our pupils are a testament to the entire community, including our outstanding PE and Games team, our supportive parents, and, of course, the academic staff and senior management team at Berkhamsted School. I also want to thank each and every pupil for their aspirations and efforts to be the best they can be. Thank you to everyone for their support!”

The list compiles results from more than 20 different sports and over 120 different events. We are delighted to see Berkhamsted come out once again in the top 10!
