Celebrate with us

The Teaching & Learning Evening is our annual showcasing of action research projects and postgraduate qualifications recently completed by colleagues. At Berkhamsted we are proud to support colleagues who engage with further research and this is our opportunity to celebrate their work and share it more widely. As in previous years there will be an impressive, inspiring range on display

Exciting and varied research discussions

Exciting and varied research discussions

In previous years colleagues have shared exciting research into curricula and character education, new technological developments and the work of wellbeing dogs. We hope you find the conversations fruitful and stimulating, and they provide food for thought over the summer and into the next academic year

Don't miss this stimulating evening ...or our refreshments!

So join us for a stimulating evening of interesting conversations, a glass of something special and a nibble or two!

Action Research

Action Research gives colleagues the opportunity to research, initiate and manage positive change within our school. Projects follow a set process of inquiry around an aspect of teaching and learning. There is the chance to collaborate both within and beyond the school as part of our professional learning community.

Post-Graduate Study

We are proud to part fund a range of master’s level qualifications for our staff to explore areas of educational interest. Colleagues have recently studied with the universities of Birmingham, Cambridge, and KCL.

CPD

At Berkhamsted our CPD programme is designed to meet immediate training needs; to provide guidance on career advancement; to develop the knowledge and practice of colleagues and to foster a spirit of reflection throughout the School. Hear more about our varied programme from colleagues who have seen the benefit in their own classrooms and careers.
