CCF GENERAL INSPECTION DAY 2015
The pinnacle of the Berkhamsted Combined Cadet Force calendar, the Annual General Inspection, took place at the School’s Castle campus on Wednesday 6 May, with rain threatening to disrupt proceedings.
The skies, however, brightened just in time for the 46-strong Guard of Honour to march on to the Grass Quad, supported by the Band of the Parachute Regiment.This year’s Inspecting Officer was Captain Nick Washer, MA BSc Royal Navy. After inspecting the Guard of Honour, Captain Washer presented the prestigious Pearkes Sword to Cadet C/Sergeant Tom Wood as the outstanding cadet.
