Athletics Triumph For Heatherton
Heatherton House enjoyed a triumphant day of athletics when they competed in the St Theresa’s Junior
Annual Athletics Championships for the first time at Stoke Mandeville
Stadium.
We took our top four athletes
in year groups 4, 5 and 6 and they each competed in a track event, field event
and a relay. All the girls represented the school admirably and we achieved four gold
medal positions, one silver medal and another three got to the finals through heats
involving 24 schools, which was fantastic.
A huge thanks to Mrs Sandra Barden, our
Cross Country and Triathlon coach, who organised the girls and also to our brilliantly supportive parents. A great
day was had by all at this fantastically organised event.
