French-speaking success!
We’re incredibly proud of our French Verse Speaking team who competed this week in a competition at Berkhamsted Prep School. Led by our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher Miss Cook, the nine-strong team from Years 3 to 6 performed extremely well at the event, with many over-coming nerves to take part. Carrie from Year 4, Isabel from Year 5, Ellie from Year 6 and native-speaker Chloe from Year 4 all took first place, with Sophia in Year 5 given a special mention.
“I am so proud of all my French speakers,” said Miss Cook. “They all did their absolute best and I am inspired by their confidence and pronunciation. They should all be very proud of themselves.”
A big thank you to the MFL staff at Berkhamsted Prep School for organising such a wonderful event.
