As dreamy country schools go, the pre-prep is right up there, while the prep – a five minute drive away – is much bigger and so urban it could almost be London.
Staff share an ambitious vision, with high expectations for what all children can achieve and ensure that high standards of learning and care are delivered.
Inside, the emphasis on teaching and learning, as well as cross-curricular, is evident from the glass-covered noticeboards alone – among the largest and most comprehensive we’ve seen.

Our Year 10 Prefects were totally engaged in their second training event last week.
As well as taking part in sessions on presentation skills, running meetings, building teams and coaching conversations, our students received accredited Mental Health First Aid training.
This is all part of our commitment to developing leadership skills so that our students flourish in school and beyond.

A KS1 assembly all about food waste. Tomorrow is “Stop Food Waste Day” and so today’s assembly talked through all the ways we can take action in order to lower food waste. Thank you to our nutritionist Grace for leading this informative discussion.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Club had great fun collaborating to build boats after school today. They used their science knowledge of materials and floating alongside their design and engineering skills to ensure our dinosaurs stayed dry! Children from different year groups enjoyed supporting and learning from one another. Here’s to the next generation of STEM pioneers! 🔬🧬🧮🏗️

Reception children enjoyed a nutrition workshop today. They learnt about the portion size for one of their 5 a day and about “ eating a rainbow”. Linking with “The Hungry Caterpillar” from our Literacy learning, making and eating caterpillar or a butterfly from fruit and veg was a highlight! #trynewfood #enjoynewfood
