Professional standards set in first House Media Competition

Professional standards set in first House Media Competition

2016 saw the first House Media Competition for students in Years 7-10. This offered an exciting opportunity for budding producers, directors, camera operators, performers etc to showcase their skills and passion through the creation of a house promo, and the students did not disappoint.

The final submissions were so professional that they are sure to be enjoyed by a wide audience of new students and parents in the years to come.

The brief was to reflect the uniqueness of their house and their shared values. The promos were targeted at a primary audience of 11-16 year olds, particularly new students joining in Years 7 and 9.
The standard of work overall was very high and reflected students enthusiasm, teamwork and pride for their house. It was a difficult decision as the promos were all impressive and it is not surprising that the results were very close. Congratulations and well done to all who took part.
The promos are available to watch on our Berkhamsted Media YouTube site and the winners are noted below.
