LAW DAY ATTRACTS SIXTH FORMERS FROM 15 SCHOOLS

The Careers Department at Berkhamsted School hosted its annual Law Day, attended by 46 Sixth Form students from 15 schools across the region, on Thursday 23 January.

The Law Day included an introduction to the Criminal Justice System, interactive sessions on negotiation and advocacy skills, such as cross-examination and examination-in-chief (in full barrister’s wig and gown!) and insights into a career as a barrister or solicitor. Sixth Form students with an interest in pursuing a career in law from the following schools attended the Law Day: Aylesbury High, Berkhamsted, Dr Challoner’s, Haberdashers’ Aske’s Girls, Hemel Hempstead School, John F Kennedy, Northwood College, Pipers Corner, Royal Masonic School, St Clement Danes, St Columba’s College, St George’s School, Tring School, Watford Boys and Wycombe High.
