ST CECILIA’S MUSIC CONCERT 2015

A superb evening of entertainment was presented by our talented Berkhamsted pupils and Music Department at the annual St Cecilia’s Day Concert on Tuesday 24 November in Centenary Theatre.

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all and the audience was entertained with a number of performances by Berkhamsted School musicians. The show featured a variety of choirs and ensembles, with the Chamber Choir performing Karl Jenkins’ Dies Irae from Requiem and the String Ensemble demonstrating their talent with their performance of Robert Longfield’s arrangement of Let it go from Frozen.
The audience was further engaged with performances from the Concert Band and Junior and Senior Barbershop groups, as well as the Year 7 boys and girls singing Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow’s Jubilee Song, Sing.
The Big Band brought the evening to a close with Skyfall (arr. Holmes), In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning by Mark Turner and Mas Que Nada by Jorge Ben.
It was a wonderful evening showcasing our talented pupils and staff. For more pictures please follow this link: https://www.www.berkhamsted.com/St-Cecilias-Concert-2015
