Specialist Sport Teachers
Berkhamsted’s PE Department consists of specialist teachers who provide expert teaching and coaching, before, during and after school. In addition, we employ a number of external coaches to support our sport programmes.
Impressive numbers of pupils represent the school each week in various sports and all pupils are encouraged to be involved in competitive sport at the appropriate level.

Partnership Update – It was our pleasure to host the @ace.programme at school in August for their week long residential training camp. Amongst the coaching staff was legendary @windiescricket fast bowler Courtney Walsh who can be seen turning his arm over in the Chesham Road nets.
The residential camp was part of our ongoing partnership which includes fixtures against ACE male and female teams and our T20 Day involving @hertscricket & @buckscricket.official
ACE is a charity which was created to arrest the decline in black British cricketers within the professional and grassroots game, and one which we are very proud to support. For more information go to @ace.programme #TeamBerko #ACE
