Value added is the name of the game: most enter the nursery at national standard, but by year 6 the vast majority are well beyond it, with many of them significantly above.

Pupils develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and resilience to a mature level, encouraged by the school’s focus on perseverance.

    🏆The U14s are @englandnetball National School Netball Champions! 🏐

They had a full day of very competitive pool games and a win in extra time in the semi-final, with a final against Putney High, winning 8-3. What a fantastic achievement for this squad.

🙏Thank you to all the staff and parents for their support.

At the end of an exciting week of STEAM activities, the children celebrated with assemblies from Year 4 about the history of time, and a reflection of the whole week by Year 5 and 6.

We were grateful to one of our parents who is a heart surgeon and who gave his time to provide an interesting and informative workshop on the heart. ❤️

Challenging our children to embrace learning in these areas with critical thinking and an open mind was our aim. While also encouraging innovation and a willingness to take risks to be able to design the future.

After all, the future will be in their hands!

To celebrate #BritishScienceWeek, we have planned an action-packed timetable of #science based activities.

Today, Year 3 met JD the @ez_robot who danced, bowed and sang Happy Birthday to the children.

Thank you to Mr McNicholl for introducing us to JD and explaining how he works.

Tomorrow, we’re excited to welcome a Science Professor to speak to the children and witness a Heart dissection later in the week!

Our Year 2 children at Pre-Prep were delighted to host our families for the Creative Arts exhibition.

They were amazed and enthralled by the myriad of creativity on display. The theme of Seasons was beautifully examined via the learning on display.

Year 6 presented a very informative assembly about World War 2 to friends and families.
They proudly displayed an array of historical uniforms as they described what roles men and women had during the war, with links to the books they have been reading also showcased.

International Women’s Day was well represented as the children highlighted the contribution of women to the war efforts too.

A great job bringing history to life! 👏😊
