Sport at Berkhamsted

Berkhamsted has been voted 3rd Best Independent School for Sport – School Sports Magazine 2019. We are proud of the breadth of sport offering throughout the School and also the number of teams we are able to field each term offering the majority of our pupils the chance to play a competitive match.

Leadership at Berkhamsted

Berkhamsted has a Deputy Head of Leadership who leads a programme to  provide students with opportunities to develop skills and abilities to enhance their awareness outside of the classroom.  Our CCF (Combined Cadet Force) offers Sixth Formers the chance to take on leadership roles and guide the younger year’s through the training

Boarding at Berkhamsted

Our small international boarding community benefit from flexi, weekly and full boarding in Houses which are based in the market town and close to the School.  These houses allow the pupils to have an experience at a UK day School which provides a level of support from the boarding house team, whilst developing independent skills – a balance between School and University – creating the best growth environment for many of our boarding pupils.
