We accurately predict each girl’s suitability for a wide range of senior schools and most girls go on to their preferred choice.
The most popular destination for our Year 6 leavers is the Grammar School, Dr Challoner’s High School, which welcomes 32% of our leavers. Berkhamsted Girls (Heatherton is part of the same schools group), is the destination school for 30% of leavers, with 13% attending other local Grammar schools, and 25% moving on to other independent or state senior schools.
Pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do at Heatherton. Our warm and inclusive family community enables the girls to flourish and develop moral and social awareness.
Our Form Teacher system ensures the academic and personal development of each pupil is closely monitored. In addition, our House system creates a friendly environment where pupils of different ages can come together to support and celebrate one another.
