Visit Berkhamsted Sixth

Our 2026 cohort achieved remarkable A Level results, with 23% of students achieving A* grades, 57.5% achieving A*-A grades and 86% gaining their first choice university.

Our excellent academic output works alongside a programme of personal development to ensure students are best placed to pursue their dreams.

Students are encouraged to take on leadership opportunities, working across the Schools Group to support and mentor younger pupils or influence our teaching and learning strategy. Not only does this aid with personal development and build character, but these experiences build the foundations for a successful university or job application.

We are committed to providing our students with the tools to leave Berkhamsted as confident, capable individuals who will make a difference in the world.

We support all our students’ career aspirations, from traditional university routes to apprenticeships and entrepreneurial endeavours. Regular industry events, networking opportunities and university fairs expose students to a range of future options and allow them to speak to experts in their chosen field.

Students receive one-to-one career guidance and are supported by a dedicated internal careers team as well as a variety of external providers. Our longstanding connection with the Old Berkhamstedians ensures pupils benefit from a wide-reaching network of industry professionals who regularly attend events and host specialist talks.
