This is a limited edition Giclee print of a Portrait of Grammy award winning Jazz extraordinaire Gregory Porter, completed by Contemporary Artist and Old Berkhamstedian, George Groves.

Every print will come signed by the artist, and numbered out of 50.

In early 2023, George and Gregory teamed up, as George was commissioned by financial planners Attivo to create a Portrait of Gregory, to be unveiled at the famed Cheltenham Jazz Festival. In late 2024, George had the grand honour of exhibiting the original Portrait at The Royal Albert Hall, engaging hundreds of fans of Porter to the picture.

Subsequently, this Portrait accumulated widespread attention, featuring in the BBC and Jazzwise Magazine, just to name a few.

This is Alice Hewson’s Ladies European tour bag, used for all of her 2023 season. It’s literally been around the world with her and stood on some very prestigious golf courses, including the Ladies US Open on the world famous Pebble Beach, California. It was by her side when she represented England in the professional team event, the International Crown event in America, then at Ladies Scottish Open and British Open and all Aramco events. It’s also been to Kenya (Alice was runner up), Ireland, Australia, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and all around Europe and various events America, including doing her warm weather training at TPC Sawgrass, where she regularly plays the Stadium Course with the founder member’s. She’s rarely back in the UK but she is managed by Team Wasserman and has several sponsors, including all her clubs and kit from Titleist.

About OB Alice Hewson: Alice won the England U13 championships and was in the National U18 team at age 15. Her first GB&I cap came at age 15 in the Junior Vagliano Trophy and she played in three Vagliano Trophies. She also represented Great Britain & Ireland in the Curtis Cup in 2016 and 2018 and the Astor Trophy.

Hewson represented England twice at the European Girls’ Team Championship and five times at the European Ladies’ Team Championship. She was the only player to be part of both England teams to win the European Ladies’ Team Championships consecutively in 2016 and 2017.

After leaving Berkhamsted school, Alice attended Clemson University 2015–2019. She won her first two tournaments as a freshman, and by the time she graduated she held 49 records at Clemson, also winning 3 further times including the Clemson Invitational home tournament.  Individually, she played in the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2019 and finished T10 and in the summer that year, she won the European Ladies Amateur Championship.

In 2020, Alice finished 5th at LET Q-School at La Manga Club and started her LET career with a win in her first event, the Investec South African Women’s Open in Cape Town and later that year won the Grand Final of Rose Ladies Series. 

Alice has had a successful tour career so far and entering her 5th season. She’s had an excellent start to her 2024 campaign and continuing to travel all over the world. She’s currently in Australia and will move on to South Africa in a few weeks.
