Top 15 Prep School!
The pupils and staff of Heatherton House School end the year in which they celebrated their centenary on a high, after being listed in 12th position on the Sunday Times’ Schools Guide of the Top 100 Preparatory Schools in the country.
The Sunday Times creates its Independent Schools league tables using the aggregate number of Level 5 scores in Key Stage Two SATS exams over the three preceding academic years in English, Mathematics and Science.
Headmaster of Heatherton, Peter Rushforth, said he was delighted to have achieved this position, which he felt reflected the high quality of teaching and the excellent achievements of the girls. “’I am delighted with the results. For years, we have been steadily climbing up the table, reaching 27th place last year. We can celebrate this worthy achievement after years of hard work by all the staff and children concerned,” he said.
