A BERKHAMSTED WELCOME FOR THE TOUR OF BRITAIN
Excitement was high as the Tour of Britain passed through Berkhamsted on Friday afternoon, 12 September, and no more so than outside Berkhamsted Girls, where pupils and staff lined the street to cheer on the cyclists as they whizzed down Kings Road.
The enthusiastic welcome by the girls did not go unnoticed by the media, with a tweet from Berkhamsted Gazette reporter David O’Neill remarking on the number of Berkhamsted girls supporting the cyclists and coverage on ITV4.
