England Saxons and Saracens rugby star Will Fraser wishes competitors the best of the luck ahead of the Berkhamsted School Sevens tournament.

Will Fraser, a former Berkhamsted student, will attend Sunday’s tournament where 72 teams are taking part in a Boys U11 and a Boys U13 competition.

Berkhamsted School, as hosts, will welcome schools from all over England and Wales. A series of 196 fixtures will be played across 12 pitches on Chesham Road Field for the U13s.

For the first time at Berkhamsted 7s an U11 tournament will be played at Kitcheners Field.  The hosts, managed by Anthony Gillam will take on seven other teams.

Tournament organiser Graham Burchnall said, “The U13 Boys Tournament is now in its 28th year.  Once again, we are delighted to welcome the 64 teams taking part. We are also tremendously excited ahead of the inaugural U11 Boys tournament.

“We hope to enjoy an exciting day of rugby. This tournament has always been played in the spirit of good sportsmanship and friendly rivalry.

“I’d like to wish all the teams taking part the very best of luck and thank you for all your commitment, enthusiasm and friendship. Thank you to our tournament sponsors, Maudesport, and to the many local companies who support the event.”
