‘BERKOBLASTER’ TAKES GREENPOWER BEST NEWCOMER AWARD
Berkhamsted’s kit car racing teams had a spectacular day at Goodwood in their car ‘BerkoBlaster’ on Sunday 14 June at an event run by Greenpower Education Trust, which seeks to promote sustainable engineering to young people.
In the F24 class (under 16s) Jason Richardson, Joe Dunster and Teddy Ashworth won the kit car category outright (competing against 24 other cars) and came 19th out of 50 odd total entry walking away with a trophy at their first event. In the F24+ (over 16s) Matt Buckley, Gareth Honour and Robert Nash won the in the Kit car category and came 10th overall. The whole team won a trophy for ‘Best Newcomer’.
