CHILLI LAUNCHES DEBUT EP
Year 12 student Charlotte ‘Chilli’ McCallum is juggling the demands of AS level studies with a developing music career.
The young singer/songwriter has recorded four tracks on her debut EP ‘The Long Road’, which was launched on 6 October at an event at Jagz in Ascot. It has been a busy start to October for Chilli – she gave a live performance at a Greene Note Session at Berkhamsted’s King’s Arms on 3 October, launched her EP on 6 October, and walked off with the prize as Best Soloist for her performance of her own composition ‘Hit and Run’ at the Sixth Form House Music Competition on 7 October. She is taking it all in her stride, however, and we caught up with her during a recorded interview with the Berkhamsted Gazette in the School House Room on 10 October just ahead of an interview on radio station DiverseFM later that evening.
