Good To Be Me Assembly

Good To Be Me Assembly

Good To Be Me Assembly

This week’s SEAL (Social
and Emotional Aspects of Learning) theme is ‘It’s
Good to Be Me’. Mrs Fenton and Yr 3 led a wonderful assembly getting the girls
to think about how we are all different on the outside, which makes us special,
but also how we are all different on the inside and that this is what is
important.

Some of the girls had written
‘recipes’ of what was inside them, including their hobbies, personalities and
achievements. Other girls in the class shared with the school some objects that
may look boring or not special on the outside, but gave reasons as to why they
might be valuable, if we don’t judge them by their appearance.
