Severin Maltere (Year 5) took part in the National Final of the Euro Talk Junior Language Challenge at London’s Olympia this week. His route to the final during the calendar year has seen him beat off competition whilst learning Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese and finally Modern Arabic. 33 youngsters made it to the final stage from over 1,100 who had taken part in the qualifying rounds around the country. Severin is pictured receiving his participation medal and certificate from Thomas Frith, the 2015 winner of Channel 4s ‘Child Genius’ TV programme. Congratulations Severin and we hope to see you continue your thirst for languages in next year’s competition!
