” Look Out ” for Year 3
Year 3 recently visited the Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell. It was a great day out and helped us revisit all the topics we have studied in Science over the year in a fun and interactive way. We started off with a bug hunt where we used large nets to catch a variety of different insects and spiders. Catching them wasn’t a problem – we found ladybirds, shield bugs, weevils and spiders, to name a few – but getting them from the net to the microscope jar for closer inspection was sometime a bit tricky, depending on how quick the bug was or how cautious our budding entomologists were! In the afternoon we had a super time exploring all the hands-on activities.
