Millie Day is crowned Tennis National Champion!
A team of Berkhamsted Prep tennis players competed among 297 pupils for the IAPS U11 National Championship, with Millie Day emerging as winner of the singles tournament. |
Millie also teamed up with Georgia Wise in the doubles. The pair notably reached the semi-finals, but were unable to progress despite battling and taking their opponents to a tie-break.

Four Berkhamsted Prep girls competed. They all reached the main draw and played with great spirit and determination. The event involved 36 independent schools and took place over three days.
A sterling sporting year has now seen Berkhamsted Prep named as National Champions in Tennis & Fives and national finalists in Swimming, Football, Netball and Equestrian.
Earlier in the week, the Senior Girls team travelled to Nottingham to compete in their first tennis National Finals. The girls performed strongly and earned a top 10 finish.
