New Lacrosse Coach
Last Thursday 5 September 2013 saw an exciting new addition
to the Heatherton House sports coaches. Emily Gray, midfielder for Team England
Lacrosse, joined Alison Bamforth, Director of Girls’ Sports for Berkhamsted
School, to coach Year 5 and Year 6 in lacrosse for the Michaelmas term. The
girls enthusiastically started their term’s training with fitness drills
followed by stick and ball coaching and really benefited from the experienced
tuition that both Emily and Alison were able to pass on. What a fabulous start
to the sporting season for the Heatherton girls.
