Children at Heatherton Nursery get on their bikes for charity!
The girls at Heatherton Nursery have been pedalling their bikes and scooters around the Nursery woodland for the annual NSPCC Pedal Push. The girls have learnt about the important work of Childline, one of the vital services provided by the NSPCC, and taken a little time to think about the difficulties experienced by some of the children who might need to use the service. Headmaster Peter Rushforth said “Inspired by the work of the charity, the girls pedalled hard to make sure that they raised as much money as possible to help this worthy cause. Well done girls and thank you to friends and family for supporting us and raising the fantastic sum of over £200.”
