2017: Video highlights

Over 100 Berkhamsted Prep pupils took part in a multitude of
performances for the Summer Concert 2017.

The School Orchestra opened with a rendition of ‘Mission Impossible’ from the famous film
series. A full collection of music genres were then performed in solo, trios and
ensembles.

Junior Choir’s upbeat performance of Life’s a Happy Song (originally by Bret McKenzie and Kermit the
Frog) was one of many highlights.

The talented Madeleine Murray joined her sister Beatrice and
Lucy Carter for a strings trio after featuring with the Orchestra, String
Ensemble and performing a piano solo.

All pupils’ performances received an animated applause from
the audience packed inside Churchill Hall. A special thanks was given to Head
of Music Mr Biggs.

In his closing words Headteacher, Mr Hornshaw described how pupils worked in perfect harmony to provide a wonderful evening of entertainment. He described how pleasing it was to see the younger pupils putting themselves forward while the more experienced musicians in Year 5 and 6 provided great inspiration and support.
