SUCCESS IN OXFORD UNIVERSITY DEBATING COMPETITION
Two teams from Berkhamsted School recently took part in a regional round of the Oxford University Schools Debating competition.
Both teams performed very well in two rounds of debates on motions about entertainment awards and social housing. The evening culminated with Berkhamsted A team, made up of Tara Sallis and Sam Howell, progressing to the competition finals day at Oxford later this term.
Tara and Sam recently also secured a place in the National Finals of the Cambridge Union Schools Debating competition after defeating a number of competitive schools in the Regional round.
