Year 6 Netball Triumphs
Our Year 6 Netball A&B teams really did us proud at the recent Chesham Prep Netball Tournament. This was the first Chesham Prep Year 6 tournament Heatherton had entered, and we took two teams so that everyone in after-school netball club had the opportunity to play in a tournament.
We were put in the B and C sections, along with four other teams per section,and played some really good netball on a beautiful afternoon. In the B section, our A team played: Westbrook Hay and won 5-0; Chesham Prep B and won 8-0; Gateway and won 4-3; and Ashfold and won 8-0. We won our group and received the winner certificates!
In the C section, our B team lost 0-3 against Gateway B, won 3-1 against Dair House, drew 3-3 with Chesham Prep C and won 4-0 against Chesham Prep D. We came second overall in our group!
Well done girls and thanks to Mrs Kent for accompanying us all!
